I had the privilage today to fly in SNJ-4. My wife got me the ride for my birthday. The plane belongs to the Commemorative Air Force. It was stationed at the Cleveland Wing at the Lorrain County Airport in Elyria, Ohio. It was a thirty minute flight for $325.00 donation. Anyone can go on there website and set up a ride, I promise you, you will not be disappointed. It was a rush, they even hand the controls over to you and let you fly it for awhile. The plane was manufactured in 1942. The date on the engine is December 6, 1941, the day before Pearl Habor. Everyone out there were great people, who are dedicated to the preservation of these aircraft. It was a honor to be able to do this.
