Post subject:  Hobby CNC plasma table

I have a Hypertherm plasma cutter and would like to look into a CNC table. I don't have the money to buy a table, and I like building things, so I'd like to start looking into building one for myself. Does anyone have experience with building one, or the pros and cons of one style to another? I've never done any machine work with CNC anything so my experience is zero. My plasma isn't huge either so I'd be limited on thinner material. I think it will sever 1/2", but not well, and it's rated more for 1/4" or a little more. It's the powermax 380 if I remember right.
