Hey guys, this is a huge shot in the dark, but shoot me some ideas.
Me and a few of my friends are trying to come up with a good idea for a business to start. We're all at a point where we have the resources, some time, and the backing to do this.

The hardest thing is coming up with a good, realistic idea.

Ideas so far have ranged from making t-shirts to setting up recycling machines in stores.

If there's something you'd like to see happen, or have any creative ideas, post them up, please!
Anything and everything will help in brainstorming!

Not really what I was expecting, but I guess that's always a possibility, haha.

Where i live the "Home depot" is 35 miles away an i ant never seen no one seeking day work there? How far would i have to go to find that? Given these realities it would be real nice just to pic up the phone an call a broker or clearing house for day labor and get it done! 8) As it is I have to bribe an threaten my kids to work just to get half ash results that is more exshausting then doing it my ownself! maybe i should just invest in power equiptment :?

Look into something "green" Alt energy or some kind of recycling, Thats what I would do. Find a way to recycle used fiberglass air filter and I can get you more raw material than you could use.

Have you tried hitting them?

Thats about how far home depot is away from me too. Mexican grocery stores are an excellent place to find day laborers. Surely there is a strip mall in your town with a little hole in the wall mexi-grocer?

I've been kinda considering a small business of my own. Mainly rebuilding alternators and starters but also doing some light machine work and maybe have a magnaflux machine. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to get quality work done around here. I've never heard of a halfway decent machine shop not making a decent living for the owner.

Those and tankless water heaters are gonna be big eventually. I plan on a tankless when my current one craps out. :D
