I just talked to the tec experts at MAORA yesterday, and should get a list of the rules. I did ask about the popular questions. You do NOT need front brakes to race in the woods class. You DO need either window nets, or an arm restraint on your "outside" arm. Your battery must be safley fastened in your buggy. You DO need to wear a helmet. You DON'T need a fire suit, cover-alls or jeans and a long sleeve shirt will do. There will be 2 "woodsbuggy" classes. Limited woodsbuggy which is buggys with a type 1 with STOCK stroke and whatever bore (1915cc is in the limited class) and Unlimited woods buggy, which will include and motor. If anyone has and more questions, ask me or pm me or e-mail "the king" link above.

Good thing I added power steering last year, just need to extend the steering wheel to reach my nose and add an auto tranny. Good thing I don't need the net too or I'd never get out of the buggy. Hmmmmm, that might not be so bad.

good question! i dont know! I would think they would like to see one or an arm restraint or two, but dont hold me to it. I would imagine if you show up, they wouldnt turn you away.
