We did that just for you. We may even add some bounty hills if that would entice the ChainDrives to come play.

Jeff said he's going. He called this morning and told me what yall have going on and I like it.

I certainly appreciate the hospitality but I'm starting another business in March so I know I'll be tied down for a while. I hope to get back into hill climbing in a few years when my son can go.

Dad and Austin ready! A friend of mine (Yank) has a horse that he can ride up the badest hill climbs. With only 1 horse power! Does he need a 5 point harness? lol Racing fuel $9/gal. Horse feed $1/9lbs. lol

Stony Lonesome Canceled...

We know that any change to the schedule creates lots of issues and challenges for everyone. We know that a lot of people have planned their vacation time around these events and we are very sorry that we have to change the schedule.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to have Race 3 at Stony Lonesome due to insurance issues so we are trying to move Race 3 to Morris Mountain on May 30th.

Once again, we are very sorry for the change.

Got a question....since I didn't compete at dtor, to stay in the event, I have to race at 3 parks. Does it have to be the next 2 in Ky and 1 in Al, before the finale at Pumpjack or can I just hit Wildcat, Rush, and Pumpjack to stay in?

That is a great idea and I wish I could get one but the boards to display the time cost around $1000. If everyone checks their local craigslist, maybe we can find a used one for less.

Maybe you can find a pc-based timer that automatically lists to an
EXCEL spreadsheet like this one:
http://www.xnotestopwatch.com
Time and info is displayed on a $400 flat panel 50" lcd tv screen.

Not a bad idea. Our current Timers will automatically populate a spreadsheet.

There will be NO payout for each individual event.
• Total Points from the top 3 Events per competitor will determine the class winners. (See Points Scoring for additional details)
• 2015 Championship Hill Climb Payouts
o Class A 1st Place - $1500
o Class A 2nd Place - $1200
o Class A 3rd Place - $1000

o Class B 1st Place - $500
o Class B 2nd Place - $400
o Class B 3rd Place - $300

o Class C 1st Place - $150
o Class C 2nd Place - $75
o Class C 3rd Place - $50..........so does this mean you have to be at at least 3 events in order for your points to matter?

Yes. The points from the top 3 out of 7 events will be added together to determine the winner.

The finale can count as 1 of your 3 events. In addition, any ties in points will be resolved at the finale by racing an extra tie breaker run up the respective class hill

Thanks for the clarification. I had scheduled off work for all the other events in ky plus a couple of 4x4 events, have a crawler also. Want to stay in the event but no time to go to bama. Although, I've always wanted to ride Choco Mtn.
