It looks like Wellsville is going to be a HUGE event.. But a 10 to 12 hour dive is a long drive and a lot of gas.. Does anyone have a trailer that can hold multiple buggies and we can all ride up together?

We could meet in Chattanooga or somewhere in AL.

My dual trailer setup works pretty good too. Doesnt really seam to effect the gas milage much either. Just an idea.

lol....just making a sugestion as to how to pull multiple buggies if you dont have a big enough trailer. Pulls really good, just have to watch out for getting in and out of gas stations.

That will work well for the TN crowd.. But you are 7 hours away from us.. I think we need to find someone a little further south..

Mongomory, AL to Wellsville, Oh is roughly 822.1 Miles and 12H 5M based on my Microsoft Map program I run. I use this for all my work travel and it is as close to dead on as I have found at about 5mph over the speed limit. Now there will be extra at the end getting into the park of probibly close to an hour plus food and gas stops. Not to mention the last hour of that drive is on twisty little two lanes that suck with a trailer when you dont know the area and in the rain. Rains everytime when I hit that area on all 5 trips I have made, no clue why lol.

From Atlanta it says 721.5Mi and 10Hr 42M
From Clarksville, TN 559.9Mi and 8H 17M
I would count on an extra hour minimum, this trip always takes longer then others for me, lol. And all of out of towners need some good directions to get to that camp, err Club hopefully an address that will work for GPS.

The entrance/driveway to the Village OHV Club is an old abandon township road,307. I have found that if you use this,Township Highway 306 & Township Highway 307 , Saline, OH 43932, in yahoo and bing maps it will take you right to the entrance. It works on my Iphone GPS too.

90% certain I will not be there. But Chad the funny thing is It only rains on the curvy roads as I drive in. Then its a dustbowl the rest of the weekend.

Post subject:  Re: Caravan to Wellsville from the south

You said that right, man it was a dust festival for sure when I was there.but man it was fun.been even better if every other buggy I got behind didn't have one of those freaking turn down headers, lol.Kim was ready to start sawing on some peoples headers.Chad

Post subject:  Re: Caravan to Wellsville from the south

Should have followed DVS! in that 400 Small Block with dual turndowns. That thing was a small dust storm all by itself. But I agree Chad, turn down exhaust sucks. Just add another 90 deg to shoot it out the side.

While I enjoy your discussion about the weather, that is not helping me get to Wellsville..

Back to the Topic at hand.. Has anyone been able to find a big trailer. I would be glad to pay $100 for a ride to Wellsville and back (with my buggy).

Ha! Ha! a 100 bucks will only get you out of the driveway considering the price of gas by the time May gets here!

Post subject:  Re: Caravan to Wellsville from the south

I think my bama trip cost me about $450 in gas roughly with only one buggy in tow. So at that price you need 5 buggies and about the same MPG. Where is the electric dually with a 2000 mile tow range when you need it.
