Hellhole to back to calera
hell hole , jack knife & the bluff is pretty good ,pride rock is also nice in calera , the heart & mandy was too til they bladed it off , i rode here for 14 years know every pig trail & holler around there , lived off 145 close to bubbas store , & 456 6 ribs do fine with the right motor , thats all i ran for the last six years out there , we used to ride all the way to blue hole in calera , i've climbed hell hole & back side the bluff at nite many of times , came from calera to 145 with three wheels , when we left the bottom of pride rock there was28 buggies & when we got to slate rock only six was still following me & jon scarborough , they said i was crazy as hell for climbing the bluff like that , it was pretty rough fallin off the hill at hell hloe with my front end digging up in the rocks every few feet , theres a trail off the bluff that will take you to second creek & down the dirt road that used to go all the way to calera , take a look at the bottom of hell hole & you'll see several hundred joint cases lay'in round , some half buried from the traffic , from all the buggies that used to play there , left jemison & went to calera to ride with some buddies that put in at county road six & that nite drove back to jemison through hell & bluff by myself cuase i parked at 145 ( not a very smart thing to do , never ride along ) but what a rush from hell when you made it all the way through & you & your buggy was still in one piece
, we used to have 200 hundred r better buggies & baha's there in one weekend from tn., ga. , & bama , sometimes the guys from teleco n.c. would come down also , i got 160 stitches in my head out there & several sets of broke ribs through the years lol , ol dee dee & busby used to come down there to ride with me & smokey a lot !!
