Those that will compete and will help in Ky can discuss it here. I don't want any particular park to host for 2 years in a row so it may be a good time to go back to D&K. But that will be for those chiming in here to decide.

keep in mind guys , when talkin with the parks here are a few things we usually require for the hillclimbs !
all parks last year provided this :
1:concessions close to the hillclimb site !
2:port o lets ( at least 2 )!
3:park matches hillclimb entry fees to be paid out to winners !
4:local emts on site ( we have people take up donations for their time there & they get in park free of charge ! )

this place is about as far western kentucky as we can go i think. so i think it would be a good place, so 3 in northern,, wellsville, haspin, dirty turtle. then southern could be chocolocca, d&k,windrock, harlan or somewhere im missin, cause i dont now the southern layout past there, but what do you guys think :?:im gonna talk to him on the requirements.

Theres really not that good of hills at dirty turtle and the money hills are a joke!!! A buggy dont even have a chance to even try to climb them!! I couldnt even git my front wheels up on the hill cause they got it cut out so much that my front bumber just hits the bank first!!!

I wouldnt say NO buggy would even have a chance, I climbed one of 'em last spring 8) . Rhonda and Hunter both nearly made it, too! When I was fixin to show the video to Joe (the owner) he said , "The payout is only for 4x4s, I know them VW buggies can get up anything and I'd go broke paying you guys." LOL. Oh well.
That bounty hill was mostly mud/dirt back then. Im sure its gutted now cuz last spring the other two bounty hills were already like you described them. It would practically take front tires the size of GraveDiggers fronts just to get on the first rock jutting out on either of them.
They definitely are NOT something you could have a speed contest on. short straight up creek bank.

May be a good place to do a buggy Rally cross type race though. In fact, Joe has had a couple of them already. Adam Shmidt won first place at the last one and won a pocket full of money. DTOR has a couple nice grassy parking/camping areas, but there's no electric or water hookups. He's a helluva nice guy. Im sure he'd be easy to work with.
