other useful/helpful information

1. snack shack/concessions available on site the day of the event
2. camping available
3. restrooms and showers avaible
4. room/parking for campers/R.V.'s
5. hotels, restaurants, grocery stores, parts stores, convenience stores (beer,snacks,ice,gas,diesel,propane), are all located within about five minutes of the park
6. bolted tires will be allowed at this event due to the park having no rule against them

We need a head count on how many can make it on friday morning. We have got to cut the hills in and its gunna be tough for just a couple of people. Trey dont have anyone to help cut the hills in so we are gunna have to step up and help him. There are three hills laid out, A, B, C, class hills. Last year the help didnt show up so we had to use a dozier and it messed the whole comp up. If anyone can get there early it would be much appreciated. :) Bolts are allowed at this event, so all you CD guys come on and let it all hang out.

You can use the bull dozier on my Class C hill.... oops. I mean the Class C hill... I would enjoy a nice flat, wide, smooth.. easy hill... :) :) :)

I will try to show up Friday but I cannot commit yet..

Thanks racefreak. We have laid out three hills. Wehave 3 hills to cut, there are only a couple big trees about 8 inches at the base to cut. the rest is underbrush. Its gunna be a job to get it done in one day. I will be there early friday morning.

also i dont THINK anybody will call it a "drag race" in A class this year :mrgreen:

Me and Pipedope will be there Friday late afternoon/early evening, it is a 8 hour trip so give or take a couple hours, should be rolling around 5-6 Friday morning 8)

We are getting excited about this event!!!! I will be there Friday morning with a couple of saws to help cut the hills. We used a track hoe and cut several flat terraces to set up on and for spectators. We also took a clean porta toilet and trash cans to the race site. If anyone has any suggestions or request just let us know.
We want to make this event a success. :D

well i got some good/bad news (depending on how you want to look at it i guess)

the university inn is all booked up and the hampton inn is closed due to a busted water lin that flooded the place out

here is a list of some motels close by

There are several different events this weekend In Jville. The University in has plenty of rooms for Saturday but not Friday.

The motels in the Anniston McClellan area are only 5 miles or so from park. The Lenlock INN is the closest.

I just canceled one of our rooms for Friday night and Saturday night at the University Inn if someone wants to call and try and get them. I had booked two rooms and only ended up needing one.......
