 Post subject: 3 rib parts interchange?

i was wondering if any parts in the 68 model 3 rib (acorn nuts behind drive flanges) will interchange with the newer 3 ribs (screw in adjusters behind drive flanges) ?

the reason im asking is i have a 68 3 rib with a busted ring and pinion and i have 2 newer 3 ribs and one has a busted 1st gear and the other has busted spider gears and i was wandering if i could use the 68 3 rib to fix the other 2 ?
