Between my shifting rod and my nose cone, the coupling keeps loosening up. There are currently 2 little allan screws (one on top and one on bottom) that hold the coupling in place. Is there a good way to keep these screws from loosening up? I was thinking about drilling a hole through the nose cone shift rod and replacing the little allan screws with a nut and bolt. Your thoughts? Thanks |

There should be a small hole in the set screws. Take a piece of wire and go through the small holes and around the shit rod and twist tight. |

I just read that it has allen heads screws. This is what the set screw should look like for the wire.

Drilling a hole through is exactly what i did. Now i have a 5/16 nut and bolt and its GREAT! |
