man that sucks,you guys keep saying how easy it is to find them subys so cheap and how you get more power for less money but for what you guys go through in trannys your power is costing you more than it looks like you thought.looks your going to have to do what firebug did and get an eric debord built tranny and be done with it.who is that says buy it once and cry once,im saving my money to get me one.chad

We saw a guy at haspin last trip who will probibly have the same fate. 350 Chevy, 6 Rib with a Super Diff, and 35" Super Swamper TSL's. It was his first trip in it. And Bill, you gotta stop blowing trannies, it's scaring my wallet! |

you all know that a tranny is only as good as the parts you put in it and not the person who builds it,( well sometimes it is),think about it if you put a r&p in that is 30 plus years old and x amount of miles it will break someday, if you put a brand new part in it will break someday also, yes weddle parts are byfar the best. |

try calling weddle, for a used case. i bought one last year from them for about 150 bucks, it was in real nice shape. dave |

when my 5;42 broke i went to a 4;86 and a 5 rib case,and i had a guy in california put gussets on it where what happen to,it aint suppose to happen to the one i had fixed,to me a 5 rib case looks stronger,dont know if it is |

OR......cut about 500lbs off the buggy and have Chuck build you a good tranny, geared the way you want it.  It dont cost no friggin $6K like someone had said earlier, either. He could build you one completely brand new, case and all, for way less than that. |

Maybe by Thursday or Friday. It was in a buggy with a stock engine and the kid wanted a 3 rib. The guy that owns it has a 091 already and doesn't need this one. |
