Is seems like I'm having to adjust my clutch cable every couple months or so (standard VW pedal cluster). Is this normal? Got my steel cable from Home Depot. Is there another kind of cable that doesn't need adjusting as much, or do all cables eventually stretch a little? Only had the buggy running since Feb. 09. Also, is it best to use grease or WD-40 on the cable in the tube (I'm running mine in steel brake line). Thanks.

if you put oil of any kind on it then i would try and seal the ends good, because the dirt and dust will stick to the oil and gunk up.chad

Use a stock German clutch cable. It will NOT stretch. German steel is the best in the world.
