 Post subject: shift rod

well it's time to hook up my shifter i want to run a scat drag fast shifter and was wondering what kind of shift rod do you all run and i seen where some rods you can weld an adjuster into them oh yeah if you cant tell this is my buggy been working on it 2 years now lol but i have learned alot along the way just trying to find out what all i need to hook up my shifter from the transaxle thanks

I've always used a stock vw shift rod with the weld on adjuster and red urethane bushing between the adjuster and transaxle.

ok thanks yeah my shift rod was all bent up and looked like it was welded on with jb weld I'm just doing to buy all new where is the best place to buy the rod and adjuster thanks
