Post subject:  Newbie Tranny Question
I have a sedan trans. The gearing in it is WAY to high, as everyone knows. I swear I can do 35-40 mph in first. :lol: I have found info on here for the ring and pinion in a 3/5/6 rib. Does anybody know what the r&p is in a sedan trans . I wana know where I'm at now.

swing/axle had 4:37 & 4:12 irs with 2side covers usually 4:12 irs 1side cover 3:88 1-4and reverse same as 3rib If ya get me the stamped numbers on your tranny I'll look it up to be sure

Number location is opposite the fill plug.
