What is the end play and lateral play tolerence in the spline shafts supposed to be.

I have seen them vary like that with no problems. The driver side will usually always be looser (because it is shorter), than the driver side. Unless it is really extreme, I would not worry about it.. (sorry for the late reply, i have been on vacation)
