OK Chaingang,,, how bout some pointers. What do yall use to lubricate the chain ,,also how tight is tight enough , or too tight,,or too loose. |

i oil mine with motor oil and tight but not too tight like a motor cycle chain and oil them when you hear them they will let you know |

Tractor supply sells a chain and cable lube that we used on the winch chains and cables on the tow trucks where I used to work. It worked for that, it should work for yours. I would use chain lube from the dirtbike shop if I had chains. |

I use to use a product called Kell Lube on my RM250. It is used for the fifth wheel on a truck. It sticks like glue and holds up well. |

I use a lube with teflon so it stays on the chain. Busby uses oil or what evers around. JUST MY TWO CENTS. |

The best thing to use if KY JELLY it keeps the friction down.   See you all in AL.
