Post subject:  6 rib mount/linkage pictures help

Finally getting parts together to do my 6 rib swap and am getting confused. Does anyone have pictures of their setups. Mostly confused on the linkage.

Right now I'm running 2.2 ecotec beetle trans with superdiff. Stage one plate. 1.9 liter diesel starter.

Looking to go to 84 and up vanagon 094. Already bought the adaptor for shift linkage, not sure about the universals.
Thinking stage 3 plate not sure. Not sure on a decent clutch either. Any suggestions for a super diff? I was told weddle input shaft and first and second gears. Anything else?
I know I can swap a 3 rib bell and use the diesel starter I have now. But do I cut the input shaft or change it?
Plan on doing a nice build thread while I do this so the next guy can have an easier time. Would be nice to have this info in one spot. Ecotec and 094 seem to be the most affordable/best combo you can do.

Just getting lost and confused any help would be appreciated

Go here and read up. This should answer your Weddle questions, linkage questions and your clutch questions.

Do not buy cheap foreign crap, they are too sloppy. Stage 2 will be fine if you are running a cable clutch. Go stage 3 if you are running hydraulic.
If you need more pictures and or information just let me know.

Stage 2 in my opinion, my buddy has stage three and hydraulic clutch ands its pretty hard to push, my stage two with hydraulic is not much harder than the stage one and so far no slipping with my 2.2 Eco and a 6 rib with 31" tires
