there are four of these tabs on my sideshift one is broke. Can they be cut off and ground smooth or are they needed for case strength. I need some clearance for my frame horns

At the factory , robots grab the trans and position them by these tabs. Cut them fast with a high speed cutter b4 the Magnesium builds enough heat and don't breath the weird smoke. |
