I have a 6rib in my buggy now and I'm switching to 3 rib for the lower gears but I don't have a 3 rib starter will the bellhousing from 6 fit the 3rib thabks

I know a lot of people put the 3 rib housing a 6 rib trans but I have never heard of anyone doing the reverse.

I would check the input shaft on a 3 rib to make sure it is long enough to work with the 6 rib bell housing.

Yes it will work but you need to swap the input shaft.
