Hey guys, was hoping someone could help me out here. This is my front 002/091 trans mount ...or what's left of it :? I cut as much of the welds off as I could with a cutting wheel but due to the tight quarters still had to beat it off with a sledge. I've looked everywhere for another one but can't find it and want to use this design again. It's made from a single piece of 1/4" Steel and formed into several bends on a machine. It is welded to the torsion tube and those tabs at the top are for seatbelt eyelets. You can see how it was installed in the first and last pic of it on the buggy before I removed it. I know I could try a torch or just welding several new pieces into the same shape, but I'm trying to buy where I can to save me from doing more projects. Any ideas where I can get another one? This is the last part of my "moving all the trans mounts forward" project - help I want my Ecotec in!!! LOL

Unclejerm, u have probably figured out that it was a one off piece, do a cardboard cut out of one then make it, looks like a nice strong piece.

Yeah, I can fab one up but this is a last ditch effort - I was hoping one these guys that been around for a while will say "yeah when I was a kid we got those off a old jeep" lol

One more view... This is from the shifter looking back at trans mount. Just to give another view of the mounting location. You can see I still have the seatbelt eyelets in..
