I am building a new buggy with a 1915cc engine with a scat cam and dual carbs with a sandfox frame. I mostly ride in Trevorton and St.Clair and was wondering which trans would work better for my setup. I am planning on running 15 wide v-treads but haven't decided on that just yet. Any information would be helpful. |

By the looks of some of the hills in trverton you need wheel speed the 6 rib would probably be the best choice imo |

Asking question is the best idea to learn more about buggies. Feel free to keep asking questions... Here is an old thread with some good info on 3 Rib and 6 Rib. http://www.woodsbuggy.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=10&jfile=viewtopic.php&f=12&t=7290&start=0 |

Don't use a 3 rib. You will hate it for your set up. Especially for the hills in your area. |
