Post subject:  3 rib or 6 rib?

I am building a new buggy with a 1915cc engine with a scat cam and dual carbs with a sandfox frame. I mostly ride in Trevorton and St.Clair and was wondering which trans would work better for my setup. I am planning on running 15 wide v-treads but haven't decided on that just yet. Any information would be helpful.

By the looks of some of the hills in trverton you need wheel speed the 6 rib would probably be the best choice imo

Asking question is the best idea to learn more about buggies. Feel free to keep asking questions...

Here is an old thread with some good info on 3 Rib and 6 Rib.

Don't use a 3 rib. You will hate it for your set up. Especially for the hills in your area.
