Post subject:  Shipping a 6 rib.
I pulled the nose cone, input shaft and bell housing to make it as small as possible. My original plan was to put it in a heavy duty plastic tote. Bag the transmission then fill it with expanding foam. I found some old pillows and packed the shit out of it with them. Then I heated up a screw driver and melted slots for zip ties and held the lid down.
85lbs total on it's way to Chuck Jones tomorrow.

The pillows where to stop the trans from sliding around and breaking the tote. I know how shit gets handled going ups.
