I had to remove my 4 Puck because there was no forgiveness while trail riding. I bought this one from CB performance and I really liked it. http://www.cbperformance.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=1359 |

Call Kennedy Engineering and get a stage 2 pressure plate an a organic disc. Puck clutches are either on or off, nothing in between. |

I have a stage 2 with a 6puck. I was slipping a cush lock running the 35's and plumberbill suggested the 6puck. I love it no slipping and it doesn't feel like a puck clutch at all. Posted using the WoodsBuggy Mobile App |

I have tryed them all. Kennady Stage 1, 2 and now on a 3. I have tryed stock, daiken super clutch, 6 puck and now a combination 8 puck on one side/full organic on the other side. So far stage 3 and the combination clutch is working the best. No slippage and no grabbing. Now to see how well the pair wares. The stock and daiken did not last me a season. The 6 puck grabbed to hard and lasted 1 1/2 seasons. Keep in mind fully loaded my buggy weighs in at around 3000 #s and I am running a Subie Turbo so that has a major bearing on my clutch woes! |

I run the 9" flywheel with a stage 1 and a HD cush-lock by Kennedy. The clutch does slip a little but with 243 ftlbs of torque you need a weak link. |

aboone993 wrote: Ody ...Just curious are you running a 200mm or the larger vanagon 220 (i think) mm flywheel? Posted using the WoodsBuggy Mobile App I am running the 200MM. When i spoke to Kennady about using the 220MM setup, they stated the cost to switch over was not worth the little gain I would get from it. |
