I had a similar problem M-Day, but it was 1st gear. After opening the transaxle, I found the 1-2 shift fork moved toward 2nd and just needed re-adjusted. |

Ok it sounds like everyone thinks the linkage needs to be adjusted. So how much trouble is it to do. or is this something i need to take to someone. |

take the whole shifter off the trans and shift with vice grips to rule out couplers and shifters etc. But, GuyP is probably right. |

put the trans in reverse and then put your shifter in reverse and tighten everything down.. it SHOULD fall into all the gears, given nothing is wrong with the trans itself |
