Someone linked this over on the samba from Race Dezert. Pretty cool concept for people doing the differential thing like 2800Passatt. Of course it comes with an expensive price. I thought it was cool and those guys with a lathe, mill and nothing else to do all winter may find it interesting.

looks like it would allow for atleast 3 or 4" longer axles

The only problem I see with that is no cutting brakes but would be great in a ifs/irs crawler
