What parts from a 6 rib case shift(water cooled) are useable in a 6 rib aircooled (nose cone shift 1982)?
I have access to a water cooled 091 trans (minus ring and pinion and case) was wondering if the parts were worth having for an aircooled 091.

I dont think anything is. If you cut reverse off the pinion shaft, you can use the ring and pinion in a nose shift.

Thanks for the info, but I cant make myself cut off a real reverse gear. I guess that I will pass on the deal.
