Well have been thinking about them after second stock clutch pedal has snapped under 2200lb pressure plate need to buy a set wanting to know best bang for buck and do they make bolt on slave cylinder for vw trans or is this a custom made item any info would be great thx

get a cnc kit or you can get wildwood individual pedals and you will be fine, the other brands are cheap copies and usually give a lot of trouble from my experience. and yes the slave unit comes with a cnc kit and the wildwood is a seperate item also but i dont think there is a lot of difference in price either way you go, also fyi it depends on your brake setup but most folks use a 3/4 bore for disk brakes on the master cylinder

THIS IS WHAT I GOT FOR MINE. I HAVENT PUT IT TO USE YET BUT EVERYTHING MOUNTED FINE. I HAD TO MAKE A BRACKET TO MOUNT THE SLAVE.

When u mount slave cylinder does it need to be completely extended or is there no adjustment for them?

Afco master cylinders from Speedway, CNC pedals from my local buggy shop. I use a 1" bore Master for my rear brakes and cutting brake. I currently have no front breaks, but when I change my front beam over to coil over I will add brakes and a new brake pedal with two master cylinders so if one fails I will still have brakes. I use a 3/4" bore for my slave.
This is the wrong way to mount your slave if you are running a real heavy pressure plate. I plan on fabricating a straight line bracket with hime joint to allow the slave to travel in the natural arch.

as for a bracket, with the cnc kit it uses the factory bowden tube braket on the side of the trans, look at the 2nd pic red barron posted with his slave unit and that is the way all of mine have been

All the brake rotors, calipers and hydraulic clutch parts on my car are Wilwood components. They are were cheaper in cost and way better in quality than CNC, the only bad part is Wilwood doesn't make a cutting brake set up or I would have it too.
