I have a three rib that I plan to bolt to my 1600. I heard that the input shaft needs to be trimmed. Is this correct any tips or specs to check? Thanks guys! |

I've had a couple and never had to do anything. I've always bolted right up. Never had any problem. |

that's 091 and up.(6 rib).High speed a 1/2 inch, then cone shape a 1/16" so the motor will slide on easy. Put a tiny bit of high temp grease on your gland nut needle bearings.Don't pick up the trans or let a loose motor hang off on the imput shaft.A bad bent shaft can make the trans pop out of gear. |
