 Post subject: handicap buggy

i have a good frien of mine who's had a buggy for some times now and can't do much with it because he lost a leg. any ideas how to convert his buggy to an automatic?

What kind of riding do ya wanna do? Extreme? street? easy trails? I have a full auto from a bus (I'd sell)but there geared kind high,maybe it and some baby chains to gear it down PM for my number if interested

There is a guy here in wellsville who also lost his leg and his buddies hooked up a staging brake and used it for his clutch. This guy doesn't miss a beat with this set up and hangs with everyone down there.

ive got a complete autostick out of a 70 bug id trade for a standard ive got all the goodies to make it work: vacumn canister, 2 pedal setup, contact shifter, trans fluid resevoir, vacumn solenoid, and pump.

guy here in bama is paralyzed on one side of his body, he got a 2275 i think against a full auto trans with v-treads and his buggy runs and pulls great..he can nose it up to a phone pole and it will smoke both back tires :twisted: :twisted:
