Post subject:  got any ideas?

today i got my 2 seater out because my daughter wanted to ride in the christmas parade and when we got back to the truck my tranny was pukeing oil out the "weep" hole on the top of the nose cone

while i havent checked the oil level, i dont think its over full unless these things somehow magically fill themselves lol because i have not added any oil or had this issue since the tranny was put in 1 1/2 to 2 years ago, also it has only been riden about 1/2 dozen times since i bought the 1 seater around late august/early september of last year and it has not left a drop of oil on the concrete where it sits in the carport, so to say im a little confused is a bit of an understatement

Wonder if the weep hole was plugged just enough to build pressure and blow out what ever was pluging it along with some oil.

Have you sat in creeks alot this past summer and took in alot of water and the oil sits on top of the water? Just a far fetched guess.

i was wandering about maybe the "weep" hole got stopped up and built pressure idea but i dont dont see how it got stopped up sitting in the shop and i never really got out of an idle in 2nd gear and with temps in the mid to upper 40's i dont think it would have got hot enough to build pressure anyways at the snails pace were were going

and as far as the creek riding i do very little of that and dont just sit around in the water either, the most water my buggy every sees is when it gets sprayed of at the car wash and that has never caused a problem before

Dirt dobbers will make a nest in any hole. Just a thought.
