Ripped both tranny mounts on my nose cone out. Don't know if this is something that happens a lot but whats a good way to help prevent it from happening again??

Use the bus adapter kit with the center and bell housing straps. There is also mounts that bolt to the tranny where the nose cone and the body mounts together. And dont forget to make a mount to the top mounting holes on top of the bell housing.

I didn't think of putting some for the top of the bell housing, that makes a lot of sense. I don't see any other mounts though for where the nose cone and body mounts together... it is a 3 rib

If your bell housing has the two top mounting holes you could take advantage of them and run some bracing upwards and outwards,,,or some sort of ridged and solid hanging system braced off the frame. Stiffen it up at all mounting locations for best support.
