 Post subject: trans question

im trying to turn a side shift 6 rib into a tail shift only using the main case. but the side shift case is not drilled and tapped for fill plug. does any body know what size tap i need to use on the case?

I'd just tap it for a 3/4 pipe plug.

second that! I assume your using an early nose side shifter and not the water cooled style.

I think it is 24m X 1.5. But you can also use a 1 inch hole saw and rubber "freeze" plug. Unless you want to pay 80 bucks for the tap like I did, lol
