My side shift is in the nose and I thinks yourns is in the case

If yours shifts in the nose, dont even bother with it. All you have is 6-rib, nothing better. not worth the trouble

Gonna run what i got until i can afford better, thanks for the opinion though.
How hard is it to come by a "good" nose shift trans with damaged gears or R&P so i could convert what i got?

it cost bout the same to convert it over to nose cone shift as it does for a good shifter linkage,,,they are good trannys,,jus a stock 4;56

i dont have any pics of my old set up and is long gone now but i used a cable shifter from a cavalier the used the good aftermarket throttle cables for cables (the ones in the sheathing) and made a simple braket to do on the trans. sorry dont have any pics
