I tore out reverse Thanksgiving weekend. I got that fixed, but now it keeps coming out of first gear. It sure made our trip today a short one. Any ideas? |

You can drill a hole in the side of the case at the shift forks. Then you can adjust the depth of first gear. I think eric debord's site explains where to drill the hole. when you are done just install a rubber freeze plug in the hole. Or tear it out and re jig it. |

When we tore it down the pinion bearing had came apart. It is a 3 rib, but they are getting harder to find local, and the money to buy one is getting harder too. |

If you never set it back right then tear it down and fix it.cheaper than tearing it up.check out Eric debord site.there is a link to it on the home page.you may want to try and go that route.or put a bungee cord on it |
