You need the late style TOB.
It slides on a guide tube that the input shaft sticks through.
You need the pressure plate without the ring.

In the link gasman put up, look at the 2nd TOB picture, the one I posted with the red arrow.

This is the pressure plate style you need.

okay so i went up to drews today, i got a new TOB. got it installed put the motor back in. and i got no clutch,. I cant push the lever down at all. i even put my foot on it. its got a stock pressure plate with a 4 puck clutch. any ideas?

You will have to hook your slave cylinder up to the lever or whatever you are using as your clutch system, it is pretty tough to pull/push the lever especially with the stock pp, why are you using stock pp with a 4 puck? I would run at least a stage 1 Kennedy pp on a 4 puck, stock pp works great if you are using a kushloc clutch IMO.

Drews suggested that clutch set up. And a slave cylinder? Shit all I got is the clutch cable. What should I get?

Post subject:  Re: thow out bearing

You will have to get a hydraulic clutch pedal to run the slave cylinder.if go this route you will like it a lot better than with the cable.I would get separate pedals instead of the pedal kits IMO.you can order them from jegs or Dave poske.get them the next day.and have wilwood or Howe.you can get slave cylinder from drews.check these guys out.www.poske.com.they have good deals on clearance stuff.call ask for Allen,he's the man.Chad

Post subject:  Re: thow out bearing

That's it.you don't have to modify your tranny.look at this pictur It has a nice bracket on the trans but the stock one will work.pretty much a bolt on job. Just run lines up and bleed them..Chad :mrgreen:http://www.woodsbuggy.com/index.php?opt ... der#p45581 try this again.it took me forever to get this.site was locking up on me.

You do not need a hydraulic clutch at all with a stock pressure plate. (You dont even need one with a stage 4 pp if you know how to setup your cable, actually) Hydraulic clutch assemblies are just several more parts that can and eventually will fail. I wish I did not run hydro, and when any part of my system fails and I gotta work on it, I will ditch it all and switch back to cable. Run a cable setup, carry a spare cable and you're good to go. Ezer to fix in the woods, no fluid needed. Best policy for any woods vehicle is.......... K.I.S.S.

I run a stage 4 PP with a cable clutch too. I was thinking it would be hard to push but it feels close to stock to me.
