I decided to go with the vanagon tranny in my new build instead of the 091 6 rib because I have had great luck the last 4 years with the one in my old rail. I was thinking I was going to go with the cable shift because I did not have the room for the linkage I bought from Gary at Davis Racing for the old rail. But then I was talking to Ron at weddle and he told me they had a linkage that they were selling that worked great, here are some pics of it.
