Trying to make one up for this UN5 box, I'd be interested to know what everyone else is running in terms of preload/ramp angles/plate interleave and thoughts.
I'm leaning towards a 30/70 setup with plenty of preload and a light interleave on the plates so the preload would keep the unit operating in the slippiest of conditions, and make sure it'd have a lot of life - and the 70 ramp should let the fiddle/cutting brakes overpower it easily if need be when entering a corner.
Anyone have one with turning brakes and can give me a rough idea of how hard it is to overpower and your settings?

Hands down the Peloquin torque biasing diff is way better than an open diff! My Buggy weighs in at 2500# and I need all the traction I can get and it delivers. Its posi traction without the push in the turns you would experience with a locker. It puts the most power to the wheel with traction unlike the open diff with the opposite effect. The big controversy was the use of Cutter brakes. They work just like an open diff when off power. They do work under power however you do need to be rolling for best results. The only downside I see is from a dead stop the cutter brake wants to stall the motor. Thats a minor price to pay for all the advantages it gives you. Not to mention the superior strength over a Super diff. The Peloquin uses 10 helico gears and planitaries. They are not cheap however well worth the price.

Ah, well that shouldn't be such a problem on the turning brakes given it'll be a plate diff rather than an ATB, I'd imagine if you can lock them up with an ATB then a gentle ramp on a plate should be easy to overpower.
