Not sure on weight but they all cost about 100.00 to ship anywhere.

I used a heavy duty plastic tote and packed it full of cardboard filler. I think I bought my last one at lowes for $20-25 and it said it would hold 500lbs. It had 4 holes in the top for locks and I drilled several more, and zip tied the lid on. I was shipping a $10,000 220lb 3” drive impact in it so I didn't mind spending $25. It survived a trip to California using UPS.

As far as who to use I’m not sure. Make sure you pack it tight. I had Eric build me a tranny and I watched the UPS guy drag the box out of his truck and just let it fall onto the center of my driveway and take off. Thank god Eric put a piece of split pvc hose clamped over the shift rod. I think it cost me $75 shipped from OH to KY.

Ive shipped 2 with those heavy duty totes. Fill with padding drill holes through the lid and bottom about every six inches and zip tie shut. And get the tote at walmart cheaper.
