Have you seen the vented rear rotors? There is a bugpack dealer about 40 minutes from here that has them in his store they are a really nice piece I am not sure of who makes them though. I know they will ship items if you went that route but even if not I am sure he could tell you who makes them.

never seen a vented rotor in the vw world ill have to check em out

are they thicker if so my calipers probably wont work and if they are not thicker i wonder how good they would hold up offroad abuse such as rocks and stumps and such?

Latest Rage stuff is actually made in the USA I thought. I know plenty of people running Empi brakes and if they do alright surely these would be ok

well about 5 year ago i actually was trying to get a offroad shop started in a building i owned and rented out to a guy for a lawnmower and small engine shop although it never worked out but i had already talked to several suppliers and latest rage being one of them and when i was asking about how fast i would get something after ordering they told me that sometimes "empi" would call and order all of a certain item they had in stock but that they got "containers" in regular but wouldnt know what was in them till they started unloading them but outside of a situation like that they usually had everything they carry ready for shipment the same or next day

with that being said it sounded to me like "containers" coming in on a ship from china and "empi" is a lot of repackaged latest rage stuff but that is just my take on the way it sounded but i could be wrong
