Can’t you use these for making your own disc set up? Only $23 and don’t have to find someone to cut your drums

the first set of disc brakes i ever made i took type 3 hubs and then turned the centers out of front rotors and slid them right over the hub.then some guys stated using s-10 rotors i think and redrilling them but that was before you could buy the disc brake kits and when they first come out that they was two piece also.

I had some drums turned down,,cost me $100 then bought 84 300zx 4 lug rotors...I did not realize the type 3 hubs would work,,,with a little trimming.

wow $100.00 to cut down two drums.thats alot imo local guy here charges around $20 and does a good job.if you take your time you can take a small grinder and score a good groove all the way arond it then knock out the hub with a hammer just takes awhile but for $100 i would go that route.chad

two of my coworkers used those hubs to put disc brakes on their rails. They used porsche 914 rear rotors and Ghia calipers. One guy bought pre-made caliper brackets and the other made his own. iirc they said you had to machine the hub slightly to fit.
