Does anyone have experience with using nylon brake line?

I would use steel for offroad. Plastic tubing can get snagged by so many different things and be broken at the worst time. Theres this sinking feeling you get when your rolling down a steep hill and you push the brake pedal and it goes to floor. Need I say more?

I know it doesn't matter much but it also states CAN NOT be made legal for road. My personal opinion is that I want my brakes at LEAST dot approved. Thats about the worse thing that can happen in the woods come rumblin tumblin down scooby with no brakes.

I agree with Odyknuck, I would rather use steel brake lines too, that what I am running, and uses stainless flex from the rail to the calipers.

You can also get them in powercoat silver or black.

And these is what I used on the lines from the rail to the calipers, I did not get them from Jegs but something very similar to it. I got them from the local race car shop and the brand name is Fragola and they are the best, that is what they run on their late-model cars for their clutch and braking systems at the wheels.
