I am installing Turning Brakes and I do not have enough room for the handle. Has anyone ever shortened the handle. If so, did you lose any braking? was he handle hard to push down or pull up?

I am using a single handle brake and I have disc brakes on the back.

I am running dual handle and have cut them down 4 inches to match shifter height to make them easier to grab in a O-SHIT situation. I haven't noticed a difference enough to not do it again but I'm currently runnin drums. Hope it helps.

heres some pictures i think i cut like 8 inchs or so out they look crapy but i had to hold them where i wanted and weld at the same time bymyself so yea..... lol
but as shortness they are just as easy i think

if u got big bore,3/4 pistons in ur cutting brakes u should be good no matter how short u cut them

Thanks fellas. I am going to mount the brakes this weekend and cut the handles down.
