I know these are the preferred racks. My question is are these nice tight racks? (no play). ive seen on some other forums where people are complaining about it. I have not seen those complaints here. I have one of those cheep ass Hd racks and is has lots of play. if I was only off roading I wouldn't mind much but on the street it sucks! Don't want to spend 400.00 bucks and still have issues.

My magnum rack is tight, like it should be. My buddy Jim got one, it was tight, but that was years ago. Odyknuck had one that was loose (new), I can't remember if he sent it back, got a replacement and it was loose as well, I do remember him complaining about it. I also remember him talking to the owner of Saco, the guy denied even the possibility of it being loose.

I am not impressed with German Motorsports (SACO) at all. The owner has his head so far up his ass and talks like no one else in the world knows anything. Their racks used to be of great quality. As Madmike stated they sent me two and both were junk. I plan on installing adjustable gib's in the one I have over the winter. It sucks that you would even need to consider going thru all this work for a medium priced rack.

Billet Devil Sr. I know, it is made by Latest Rage, but both of my buggies have them and they are 4 and 6 years old. One has power assist and one doesn't and they are both still tight like new.

Thanks guys. What really sucks is my old gm rack was great. It just wasn't good for the amount of suspension travel I have.

Looks like a copy of Howe's Diablo rack. I like that they are enclosed. How heavy is your buggy? What assist system do you have?

Everything else is howe. The howe ram works perfect with it and required no stops. 2500 lb buggy.
