1986 Chevy Nova. Front calipers
They came with a single rotor just like what we run. They are a hundred bucks loaded with pads and brackets at Car Parts Warehouse

Yep you just used the regular old 4 lug disc brakes and put it on there. Obviously you have to weld your own mounts in

I just use some plain old angle iron. You need to find the bolts for them go to your local autozone in just start threading bolts until they work. There are threads on the caliper bracket itself

Can we make a disc brake subject that stays on top? A sticky I think you call it?

I used angle iron as well. Plumbed up the caliper and had someone hold the brakes to hold the caliper in place while I welded it. And I used 87 Nissan sentra front calipers.

Keep in mind that the bore for your master cylinder and cut brakes need to be sized to match the calipers for everything to work correctly... large brakes require more volume. I run 1/2 ton chevy brakes with a 1" bore MC and 7/8 cut brakes and a 2psi residual valve rite off the MC and they work great

Does anyone have a recommendation on a set up for a wide 5? Beside running an adapter plate.

I run four lug wheels and most run wide 5 dirt wheels adapted to VW four lug

you can lathe the drum down to match the inside of the rotor if its 4 bolt its perfect. 5bolt you need an adapter. i have a 4 bolt drum so i cut it down to fit inside a subaru forester rotor (wish i would have just bought the porsche 944 rotors) then drilled through for my 4bolt pattern and have an adapter plate. but i figured out that you could switch to any bolt pattern or wheel and have rotors that bolt right up. but i already bought the 5 bolt wheels so maybe next time.
