Post subject:  rear rotor ?

im running sentra calipers,on the rear, the rotors I have don't have enough dish- offset to them so making mounting brackets for the calipers is going to be a pain.its not going to be far enough back to weld on top of the swing arm & they are too far back to make a plate to for the bearing cap . I'd like to know what make & model rotor most use that has the dish deep enough to mount the caliper on top of the swing arm...edit....I forgot to mention mine is set up with vw hubs cut down & some type of 5-lug rotor with vw 4- patteren drilled in them.

I used the Empi rotors with the Sentra calipers. 4 lug.

If you want to use slip on rotors, Porsche 914 will work. I don't know how deep they are offhand but I have some at home I can measure later.

Looks like 914 rotors are 2- 3/4" deep.

A pic of how mines mounted. Really simple. I just ground the back of the trailing arm flat and welded a plate to that. Then welded a piece of angle to the plate. I bolted the caliper to the angle and held compressed air to it to hold it straight while I welded the angle to the plate.
