I'm looking to swap out my worn out tie rod ends with Heim joints. What size is everyone running? I've found a few kits that are built to length that'll cost not much more than replacing all my tie rods. Thanks for the help in advance.

I have had good luck with 5/8 heim and miss alignment spacers that step the bolts down to 7/16. I bought some air craft hex aluminum from mc master Carr and cut and drilled and taped them myself. I used all right hand thread so I only need to carry one spare. But I had that set up for the last five years and never needed it.

Yeah that's where I was looking at. They have the whole rod and end set up in many different lengths.

I think summit has the 5/8 to 1/2 and I run 3/4 to 1/2 works great. I believe the proper name is high misalignment spacers. Gotta have two per heim. The reason I didn't go with the 5/8 to 1/2 is there isn't a lot of material in the spacer wall going from 5/8 to 1/2 so the spacers are kinda weak and could collapse if over tightened

They sell them at the race shop by my house. I'm think they come from speedway. He gets a lot of parts from them
