Will bolt on caliper brackets work on boxed trailing arms or will I have to get weld on brackets?

I have changed from rear drums to disc wide five. Is it normal for the rotor to be too short in this case? The spline on the stub axle sticks out past the rotor maybe 1/4". Do I just need to add a spacer on the outside of the rotor?

Make sure you have all the correct spacers in your hub sounds like your missing the inner spacer that the seal rides on.

I thought I was missing something also, but everything's in there. Both rear axles stick out too far.

Rotors for a swingaxle are thinner, so when there used on a IRS they need a spacer. My splines on stub axle stick out too till I put spacer between the rotor and nut on.

I just bought a ac industries rear disk kit for my rail we tryed every combo of spacers and they either clear the caliper brackets and stub binds up on something or change spacers around and rotor binds up on caliper bracket it's a cast bracket can someone post pics of the stub bearing /spacer placement for the disk

Ok I gotta be missing something here again my outter bearings fit perfect but the outter spacer is loose in the bearing plus to I don't think there long enough cause even with caliper bracket off I can't barely get any foot lbs on the axle nut and the rotor is binding

On aftermarket rotors there is a spacer, about 5/16 or maybe 3/8" long that goes on the outside of the rotor in between the rotor and the axle nut.

Yeah on my rotors there is a step behind the rotor that goes into the outter wheel seal but it seems to smashing into it like the spacer ain't long enough plus to the outta spacer has about a 3/32 of slop in the outter bearing
