If so is there anything else i need to get or find? does anyone know where to find a set of type 3 drive hubs in north alabama? thanks ahead for the help

maybe somebody can explain what the difference is between a type 1 and type 3 hub/drum?

my 1st buggy had Porsche rotors and type 1 hubs that had the drum turned off of it. I had one strip the splines out when the nut got loose and I just bolted on a whole type 1 hub/drum and put the buggy on jack stands, then cranked it up in gear an let it idle, then I used a cut off wheel on a side grinder to cut just outside the studs/lugs and when done it looked like it had been machined off and the Porsche rotor went right back on just like the old one :?

so either type 1 or 3 hubs will work as long as they're cut down to fit inside the porsche rotors? I've got a set of type 1's that i can cut down. all the new rotors I've found so far ranges from 75.00 to 85.00 ea. is this about right or does someone know of a cheaper place to buy them. thanks for the help

not sure what you talking about but I wasn't trying to knock a sale if that's what you mean, if so im sorry but if that was the case I would have just called him seeing as I know him and his brother is a friend of mine and only live about 30 min away

was just and still wandering what/why some folks say use a type hub and what difference was as ive never had any dealings with any type 3 stuff :?
