Will a set of 1993 Ford Mustang calipers work with Porsche 914 rotors? If not what would work that are fairly cheap or from the junkyard. Also i have stock trailing arms. Will the disc conversion work with stock vw rear suspension?

Nissan sentra calipers are cheap and work good. Ford mustangs probably would to but aren't they on a vented rotor? Might have to use a spacer.

sentra calipers are $43 a piece including core charge plus $15 for pads . im pretty sure this is what im gonna go with. its about the cheapest ive found to fit the non vented rotor. if you order online at advance and enter the promo code MC18 you can get it all shipped to your door for $89. I think that promo ends like march 23

are you talking about the rears or fronts? the sentra calipers are for the front so they should have a larger piston(more stoping power)

The front this iron duke setup I got here on a buggy is the whole motor trans kframe and struts out of a 86 87 grand am mounted in a buggy and it has non vented rotors with aluminum calipers Image

Don't hold me to this I'm gonna research it tomorrow to see if I'm correct or wrong

I mounted my rotor then Mocked up the caliper and bled the system to clamp it down on the rotor used some card board for a spacer between the rotor and caliper then fabed a bracket an welded it on.

Is this for the type of caliper that slides? Because the set that i pulled off the spare buggy have a piston on each side of the rotor.

They are for GM metric floating calipers but brackets are fabed for the type you are mounting

You can also run air into the calipers, center them up and get them where you want then turn the pressure up and weld. I just took a brake line with one end cut off, slipped a piece of fish tank hose over it then over my air nozzle to get air into the caliper.

Well i just ordered these and pads. What is the smallest wheel these will clear i have stock length irs suspension. After i mounted the cut down drum and set the rotor on and put my tire up to it, it looks like i will have a clearance issue but i wont know for sure till friday afternoon. Can anybody with this setup tell me what size wheel and tire you are running. The buggy is at my buddys house so i cant go look to see what size ive got ill give him a call shortly. Thanks for all the advice.
